Looking for Hiram BIGELOW and his wife, Betty _____, from
the area of Worcester Co., MA. Their daughter, Aulinda BIGELOW,
married Dexter BALDWIN in Spencer, Worcester Co., MA on 08 April 1847.
A Rev. Levi PACKARD
performed the service. I have no other information on these BIGELOWS. Dexter
BALDWIN was born 02 Sept. 1818 to Benjamin and Betsey BALDWIN in Leichester,
Worcester Co., MA. This is my direct line. Will gladly exchange information.
One minor correction. You show they lived in Erie, KS. Actually they homesteaded
to Section 3 of Centerville Township, Neosho Co., KS. Their descendants
still live around there and in Erie, the county seat of Neosho Co., KS.
I visited there again last summer. I believe I took a picture of their graves.
They are buried in the Grant-Brown Cemetery in Centerville Township. Dexter
died in 1889. Aulinda died in 1880.

Comments: I am the 5th great-granddaughter of Enoch BIGELOW of Charlton,
MA, USA. In Dec. 1998 I casually visited your web site and copied off some
Bigelow information for the future. Imagine my delight today when I found
it again. Since my initial visit I have decided to join D.A.R. and this
gives me a big start in obtaining the proof I need to go in on Enoch Bigelow.
Thank you for your serious, and very diligent work!
