Francis Marion ⁸ BIGELOW

15349.433      Francis Marion ⁸ BIGELOW, son of Lawson T. ⁷ ( Thomas ⁶ , Thomas ⁵( Jedediah ⁴, Samuel ³, Samuel ², John ¹) and Mary (HALL) BIGELOW, was born at Portland, Chautauqua, NY on 25 September 1843. He married there on 04 July 1863 Mary Diantha Hopson the daughter of Schuyler and Angeline (__) Hopson. She was born 0l March 1844 at Portland. About the same year as their marriage, they moved to Wabash county, MN and took up land and some years later moved to Elgin, Wabash county. A few years before his death, they moved to Rochester, Olmsted, MN and a family reunion was held there with many of his father's descendants present. He died at Rochester 18 May 1925 and his wife on 30 June 1931.

I HAVE information for the decendants of Lawson T. & Mary (Hall) Bigelow. They were from Vermont/New York but came
to Minnesota. They had a son Francis Marion Bigelow who married May D. Hopson. They also had a son named Schuyler
Thomas Bigelow who married Tena Roberts. Schuyler & Tena had a son named Chester Schuyler Bigelow who married my
great Aunt Lottie Benedict on Oct. 14, 1914 in Rochester, Minnesota. If you are interested in learning more please e-mail me.
