16A56.5A7      Lester 8 BIGELOW, son of Frank Gordon 7 ( Thomas 6 , Thomas 5 , Hopestill 4 , Ebenezer 3, Joshua2, John1) and Anna E. (WATKINS) BIGELOW, was born at Milwaukee, WI on 17 August 1887. He married in 1921 Dorothy Caswell, She was born 23 March 1895 in Milwaukee, WI, the dau of Alexis and Harriette McClure (Bell) Caswell. Dorothy died 13 September 1978 (aged 83) in Milwaukee. Lester died 15 June 1956 (aged 68) Winnetka, Cook County, IL. We know of two children:

Anne Elizabeth Bigelow Wise, 87, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2018 at The Wesleyan at Estrella, Georgetown, TX of natural causes, surrounded by her family and Pastor.
She was born on January 18, 1931 in Chicago, IL and lived a life of optimism and laughter as she enjoyed making new friends and numerous hobbies such as: sewing, needlework, knitting, bridge, golf, and reading.
After raising a family on the west side of Houston, she and her husband Joe, moved to River Plantation, just outside of Conroe, TX in 1978. Anne was the beloved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) Churchill Wise for 41 years when he passed away in 1992.
She is also preceded in death by her brother, John Bigelow.
In 2014, Anne moved to Georgetown, TX, near her daughter, Dotty and enjoyed living at The Wesleyan. Anne and Joe had four children, Dotty Culig (husband Pete) of Georgetown, TX, Janni Lifsey (husband Stanford) of Tampa, FL, Jay Wise (partner Connie Geary) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Bob Wise (wife Sally) of Medford, OR.
Anne is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris Hooker (wife Angela), Ted Hooker (wife Jenn), Heather Wauchope (husband Josh), Stan Lifsey (wife Jill), Will Lifsey (wife Libby), Scott Wise, Jeff Wise (wife Erin), and Jason Wise (partner Lauren). Anne's great grandchildren are David Hooker, Nate Hooker, Libby Wauchope, Jack Wauchope, Walker Lifsey, Ian Wise, Miles Wise, and Wesley Harbin.
A private family service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery on August 17, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, Georgetown, TX on August 18, 2018 at 2pm with words of grace and healing from Reverend Yvonne Coon Snelson. After the service a reception will be held at the McKinney Christian Ministry Center on the campus of First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anne's name can be made to the Wesleyan Homes Benevolent Fund, First United Methodist Church-Dotty Culig Scholarship benefitting the Learning Tree Preschool, Wesleyan Hospice, or to a charity of your choice.
The entire family would like to say thank you to the loving support of the amazing caregivers and staff at the Wesleyan at Estrella and Wesleyan Hospice.

Haight and Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Schroeder.

Here for Saturday Rite - Mrs. Lester Bigelow, Winnetka, Ill. Will entertain this evening at a prenuptial dinner in the Patio Room at the Town House honoring her son, John Bigelow, and Miss Virginia Haight. The couple will be married Saturday in Bechel Lutheran  Church. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Haight. Planning to attend the wedding are two aunts of the bridegroom-elect, Mmes. Mary Becker of Winnetks and T.G. Driscoll. Alexandria, Va. Also among the out-of-town guests will be a sister of the bridegroom-to-be, Mrs. Joseph C. Wise, her husband and daughters, Dorothy and Janet, Houston, Tex. Two Uncles of Miss Haight, W.O. Wickenberg and Joseph W. Dolan, and their wives, will come from Rockford, Ill. Coming from Minneapolis, Minn. Will be an uncle of the bridegroom-elect, Austin B. Caswell, and Mrs. Caswell. Messrs and Mmes, Charles H. Fox, Winnetka,; Richard Leher and James Reed, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Richard Ritti, West Lafayette, Ind., will be in Omaha for the ceremony.
