1592C.142 Ebenezer ⁸ BIGELOW, son of David ⁷ ( Ebenezer ⁶ , Amasa ⁵, Isaac ⁴, Isaac ³, Samuel ², John¹) and Martha (WEAVER) BIGELOW (see link), was born at Kingsport, NS on 13 May 1836. He married Jemima Maginess at Shelburne, NS on 25 November 1865. She was born 13 March 1841 at Poutadouvin Island. Ebenezer was a ship builder. He died at Medford, NS on 16 August 1916. His widow died on 27 December 1917 at Cape Cod, MA.

I've been chasing down some family information for quite a while now. My father is Neal William ¹⁰ Bigelow (b 28 Feb 1917), Mum's name is Maureen Eilen Mullings. Dad's father is Russell John ⁹ Bigelow (b 1884) who was married to Eleanor Greenwood.. Russell John ⁹ was the 6th child of Ebenezer ⁸ Bigelow (1836-1916) and Jemima (1841- 1917).. Ebenezer ⁸ is the 3rd child of David ⁷ Bigelow (b 11 Sept 1813), and Martha Jane Weaver..
I have visited the two cemeteries around Canning Nova Scotia (not too far from where I live) and have found bits and pieces of information. Would you possibly have some more information on the names above? If so, please email me and we can exchange other information if you like.

This is the home of Ebenezer Bigelow, on North Avenue,Canning and is still standing and being lived in as of 2017.
It's about the 5th house on the east side of north avenue after you make the turn at the Borden Monument. It sits side too, with the front door
facing south. As you can see our former Fire Department is directly across the street from it, however,
Canning just constructed a new fire department building in 2017 in another location.
