Having read your website I assume that you are a very keen enthusiast of your Family's history.
 I bought an almost unidentifiable portrait in a English provincial Auction about 2 years ago and spent  £1000 having it cleaned.
 In attempting to trace the sitter I keep coming back to Erastus Brigham Bigelow.
 I would be very grateful of your thoughts and sorry if it's merely  a lost lead.
