1592C 2464 Sarah Hermeone, b 1885 Truro,, NS; d __ ; m 11 Sept 1911 Fred Lloyd Schwartz, b 1878 His parents were from Moncton, NB.

; m 8 Apr 1911 John Vanderleck; "of Quebec when married. "Record
of marriage in Newspaper 1911, Apr 17: John Vanderleck of Quebec and Emma
Henrietta Bigelow married 8 Apr in
Philadelphia. She was dau. of James and Henrietta (Hood) Bigelow,
formerly of Lynn, MA. The bride is the grand daughter of George Hood,
first mayor of Lynn, [MA]. Immediately after the wedding they sailed
for Europe...they will reside in Quebec where the groom is a professor
at MacDonald College."

1592C.2468 Michener, b ca 1879; He resided in Alberta in 1931 when his father died.
1592C.2469 Arnon J., b 13 Dec 1880; d
11 Feb 1926. Arnon J. married Laura May Miller, daughter of John
and Mary Jane (Mattatall) Miller, born 24 Aug 1878. She died 23 Apr 1949.
They had one child:
1. Margaret Covert Bigelow, b __ ; d __ ; m 22 Oct 1932 Delancy Sheffield
Newcombe, son of Alfred Newcomb.

d __ ; m 31 Dec 1906 Violet Cecilia Thomas who was born 1887 at Clarks
Harbour, NS. She died 1966 at Windsor, NS. She was daughter
of Alfred and Ruth ( __ ) Thomas.
They had two children.
1. Ruth Hannah, b 1905; d 24 July 1995; m Harold Harry Rand on 24 Nov
1934; both are buried at Hillaton, NS. They resided in Canning, NS
and had no children.
2. Vernon, b __ ; d __ ; resided in Vancouver, BC.

I'm searching for the family links of Henry Veeder BIGELOW, who married
Mary Tupper on July 17, 1900 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She was born
Nov 21, 1877 in Bay of Islands, Newfoundland, the daughter of John S. Tupper
and Elizabeth Blanchard Waddell. Henry was the son of James Edward
Bigelow and Henrietta Agnes Hood, about whom I have no
information. I'm assuming from the location that James Edward
was a descendant of Amasa Bigelow, b. Feb 11, 1755 in Colchester, New London,
CT, d. 1799 in Cornwallis, Kings Co., NS and his wife Roxanna ( or Rosena)
Cole, but am missing some generations.
Also, - does anyone have the name of Roxanna (or Rosena) Cole's mother?
Her father was Reuben Cole, b. May 30, 1723 in East Haddam, Middlesex,
CT., d. 1798 in Nova Scotia, and his wife shows up in the records only
as "Nem".
