     I am Mary (Crofoot) Chezick.  I was born in Fremont, but my family is from Hesperia. My parents are Grant and Lucile Crofoot.  I was searching for information on the Crofoot family from Hesperia.  You have Amanda Alvira Monroe Reed, daughter of Harry and Nancy (Crofoot) Monroe m. Amos P. Bigelow (14246.28). Do you have any more information on the Crofoot family in Hesperia? I know that my grandfather was Leonard Ray Crofoot and his father was Horace Crofoot b. May 10, 1851.  I am wondering if Nancy Crofoot could be Horace's sister?
     I would be grateful for any information you may have.  Also, I am tracing the Crofoots of Hesperia (really have just started) and would be glad to share any information I have with you if you are interested in this line. Thank you.  Mary

I came across your name on http://bigelow.simplenet.com/rod/eli74622.htm.  I am researching some genealogy and currently looking for information on a Sherrill Ann Crowfoot from Vermillion, Ohio.  She would have been born around 1944.  I am quite sure that she came from the Bigelow line, possibly Eliza Ann BIGELOW, daughter of Daniel BIGELOW born 04 February, 1818, Hubbardston, Rutland, VT and married 18 October 1834 David S. Crofoot, born ca 1814. Their son, Daniel Lewis, was born  15 April 1840 in Sandusky, OH and died on 06 Feb 1927; He was married on 04 April 1864 to Mary Charlotte Graves. Sandusky is very close to Vermillion. Can you be of any help?
